The Lazy Goose. Where do i even start? The place and the food took my breath away. This restaurant is located in Candolim. Right next to the banks of river and under the Nerul bridge. This place is a beauty if you visit it early evening. That way you can please your eyes with the mesmerizing sunset. This is an outdoor seating place, just the way i like it. As soon as you enter this place you get a Goan vibe, beautiful interiors, amazing music, courteous staff, quick service and mind-blowing food. What more do I need? They have live music nights and DJ nights as well. Chef Mickey and Manager Nixon were wonderful to take care of every minute details of our order. They have a Crab Box just outside, wherein you can pick up you crab and the chef will turn it into a delicacy.

What all you can try (all the dishes are must try):
Falafel with coriander and pumpkin – topped with carrot Turkish yogurt sauce, quinoa crisps and feta.

River prawn Al Ajilio – prawns cooked in a Spanish style in its own shell, its juices mixed with wine, cherry tomatoes, fresh herb and garlic.
Wild mushroom and truffle Risotto – This dish is my favourite, i have had it at many places, but i think this place made it best. It is served with goat cheese and red local spinach.

Absolutely exceptional sea food. Everything we ordered, calamari to crab to mussels was simply super... very good staff... great variety for the vegetarians on the menu...! And the pricing is the best you’ll come across. By the river side so maybe an afternoon visit is even better.
One of the very few places that checks all the boxes - excellent food, a fantastic range of international and local dishes with tantalising twists to each dish, price range is on point (you won't break the bank!) and the service is excellent. A truly remarkable gem - if you haven't been there already, well make your booking asap!
